Project Description:
Fibrwrap Construction Inc. was called to provide a structural and aesthetic repair solution to an upscale restaurant that is situated into the ocean at Redondo Beach, California.
The Requirement was either a permanent repair of the concrete members, due to exposure to marine weather conditions, or the demolition of the structure.
A combination of Tyfo^® Fibrwrap Systems were used such as Tyfo^® CIS corrosion inhibitor for the exposed rebar, Tyfo^® Fibrwrap SEH glass and SCH carbon systems to wrap, strengthen and cover the beams, columns and slab and finally as a final layer and water sealant the Tyfo^® Fibrwrap WEB.
The Tyfo^® Fibrwrap systems restored this unique oceanfront complex and provided a long term solution. Also the whole process was successfully completed in an environmentally – sensitive tide zone in a safe and clean manner.
