Scope of Works:
• Providing a design-build solution to strengthen the slabs with the use of Tyfo Fibrwrap SCH-41 system with S epoxy, by coverage of up to 50% of the bottom part of the slabs.

Project Description:
The building situated in Fleet Street, dates back to the very early 1900’s. During the planned refurbishment the realization of the failing slabs became apparent. After recommendation of the Consultant (Lucking and Clark Consulting Engineers), Fibrwrap Construction UK was called to provide a solution for strengthening of the existing slabs, thus enabling the client to avoid demolition of the slabs and extensive temporary works in order to retain the protected building facades.
Fibrwrap UK provided a design-build solution to strengthen the slabs with the use of Tyfo Fibrwrap SCH-41 system with S epoxy, by coverage of up to 50% of the bottom part of the slabs.
The project was completed in two phases due to the fact that the works were integrated into the schedule of works of our client (Vinci UK).
The project was completed in a period of 6 work weeks, well within the time frame that was assigned and also the client was able to use the strengthened
